This summer John and I looked around for unique plants and flowers and then tried to figure out what they were. One of my favorites was the passion flower. It grows on a vine (in our neighbor's field) with several buds spaced evenly apart on the vine. The neat thing is that every day a new bud blooms and dies, and the next day another one goes through the whole process. And it's pretty neat looking. My pictures aren't very good, but this page has a
little clip of the flower opening and closing.
