Watercolors

This is from the last six months, or since I've been married. You may notice a switch in my work to a more domestic theme, although I think I was headed that direction anyway. Especially before I was working, these are the things my life was filled with. Not too profound or anything, but it's kind of comforting to surround yourself with familiar things from time to time. Abstraction can be comforting in its own way, but it feels kind of foreign to me right now. The first is an almost completed sink full of dishes, and the first produce from our garden getting ready to enter the frying pan. I like the knife especially.
