I sew with a lot of different fabrics, and non-fabric materials, and half the time, if I start to satin-stitch a hem on an upholstery-fabric crayon roll and it looks WAY wonky, it's because I forget to take out the ball-point stretch needle I was using yesterday and put in a leather needle. The other half of the time I still don't know what's wrong.juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18141123092139829629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15380909.post-60096866467059375292009-08-18T16:33:33.065-05:002009-08-18T16:33:33.065-05:00I want a machine so bad. I could always return it. lolLisa Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10804271783316686349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15380909.post-19954610722054590222009-08-14T09:28:12.965-05:002009-08-14T09:28:12.965-05:00Great tips. Sometimes I could continue the day after on the same project, with the same needle, thread and tension and it still messed with me. Although I did change toothpaste, LOL!!!<br />Thanks again. Now I know what to do next time (and I won't have to hold my breath and hope for the best every time I sew).Katarinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01472984897036945615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15380909.post-75668537883389858492009-08-10T14:59:22.151-05:002009-08-10T14:59:22.151-05:00Thanks for the tips. I took some classes last fall, and every time I had problems in class, the machine was threaded wrong or I'd put the bobbin in incorrectly. I'm pretty good at those two now!Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07760240394306239399noreply@blogger.com
